Search MarcoPolo - Find Quality Internet Content for Your Classroom!  The MarcoPolo search engine provides access to all of the educational resources created by the MarcoPolo partners plus partner reviewed materials. 

Blue Web'n - Blue Web'n is a searchable database of over 1000 outstanding Internet learning sites categorized by subject area, audience, and type (lessons, activities, projects, resources, references, and tools).

Education World
- Education World is one of the best educator's guides to the Internet. It is designed especially for teachers, administrators, media specialists and everyone interested in integrating the Internet into education. With more than 100,000 links to education-specific Web sites, original lesson plans and weekly articles, Education World is among the most comprehensive education sites on the Net. 

Scholastic Press - At Scholastic Press you will find hundreds of Standards-based Web units built around popular teaching themes.  In addition, Scholastic presents ready-to-use activities, free reproducible and lesson plans, and connections to experts and fellow educators.  

AOL School - The new AOL portal features age appropriate K-12 learning environments plus teacher and administrator resource centers. 

eSchool News Online -
10 free online tools to help you become a better educator:  news archives, company profiles, daily & weekly news, buyer's guide, forums, etc.  

District Administration Online -
a K-12 online newspaper focusing on education leadership, curriculum, technology and trends.  Subscribe free online to their monthly magazine...it's a treasure house of technology knowledge for K-12 education. 

The Jounal - T.H.E. Journal's Web site provides a comprehensive one-stop information source for education marketers. The site features searchable lists of educational conferences, educational marketing consultants, educational publications, education acronyms and much more. In addition, T.H.E. Journal will continually update and add content to the site so that it remains a valuable tool in your planning process.  T.H.E. Journal offers a free one-year subscription to qualified individuals in educational institutions in the U.S. 

Tech Learning - an online resource for education technology leaders. 

eBoard - is definitely the easiest and fastest way for educators to post information online for both students and parents.  It is an invaluable resource tool for all K-12 classroom teachers as well as the support and administrative staff.    Using the familiar image of notes on a corkboard just like “post-it” notes, eBoard offers a simple interface that allows one to post messages, photos, files and links online for students and parents to view.  The most amazing part is that an eBoard takes less than 2 minutes to build.  Originally, free-of-charge, but now fee-based (affordable).

New York Times Learning Network - free news and education resource for teachers, their students and parents. Includes lesson plans, vocabulary and geography builders, News Quiz, On this Day in History, and forums. 

TeacherVision - High school, middle school and elementary lesson plans online. With ideas for great children's activities and classroom management advice.  Check out Quiz Lab and Mygradebook for wonderful teacher resources.  Originally, free-of-charge, but now a premium service.

Quia -  allows users to create their own Java-based games, quizzes and other tools for online teaching. Users can view the completed activities or add new ones. Originally, free-of-charge, but now a premium service.

Classroom Connect - absolutely the best internet reference for educators; the subscription is a "must" for all K-12 educators.

Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators - Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators offers teacher resources, including categorized lists of sites that are useful for enhancing curriculum and professional growth.

Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) - the largest source of information about educational resources on the Internet.  A great source for all teachers.

Houghton Mifflin Education Place - free internet resources for K -8 ... this is a real gem!

Cable in the Classroom Homepage - wonderful for using free television programming with your teaching.

Global SchoolNet Foundation - a one-stop source for information about all kinds of excellent curriculum-based projects.

Adventures of Cyberbee - an excellent resource written by a library media specialist.

Busy Teachers K-12 Web - provides classroom teachers with direct source materials, lesson plans, and classroom activities with very little Internet surfing
